Where the pictures come from.

The residences. Photographs of the residences and the houses they sit in are supplied by, or published by, the owners and operators of those properties. They remain the property of their respective owners and appear here so you can see what you are reserving. Where a photograph shows a shared part of a building — an entrance, a lounge, a pool — it is captioned as such rather than as part of any one residence.

What we do not do. We do not present a photograph of one property as another, and we do not use images of a room type you would not be given. Where an operator publishes no photography of a particular residence, we show the house and its grounds and say so, rather than filling the gap with something else.

Captions. Every photograph is captioned by what is actually visible in it. Where a view cannot be identified with confidence, the caption describes the room instead of naming a landmark.

Corrections. If you own a photograph published here and would like it credited differently or removed, write to info@avoryastoria.com and we will act on it promptly.

Availability and rates. Photographs illustrate a residence; they are not a warranty of a specific unit, aspect or furnishing. The residence you are given is confirmed in writing before payment, and any indicative rate shown is confirmed personally before anything is charged.
