Timbers Bachelor Gulch is the residence club at 100 Bachelor Ridge, a building of 54 two- and three-bedroom residences beside The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch, ski-in ski-out on Beaver Creek Mountain. Owners hold a deeded 1/12 interest in a named residence carrying 3 weeks of use a year. Timbers Resorts managed the club from 2013; since 2023 it trades as 100 Bachelor Ridge and owner exchange runs through Elite Alliance. Avory sources resale interests and arranges owner stays, subject to availability.

Lo que posee

You own a deeded 1/12 undivided interest in one named residence at 100 Bachelor Ridge, held in fee simple and recorded in Eagle County, Colorado. There are 648 interests in all across the 54 residences, 12 to each residence. The deed is yours to sell, gift or leave, and a resale is an ordinary Colorado real estate contract handled by a local broker. Each interest is tied to a specific unit number and a specific season pattern, so the residence and the week pattern you buy are fixed at purchase.

Uso

Each interest carries 3 weeks a year. A winter interest gives 2 ski weeks and 1 summer week. A summer interest gives 2 summer weeks and 1 winter week. Assigned dates rotate on a calendar each year, and in practice owners trade the dates they are given for dates that suit them. Nights beyond the 3 weeks are booked on a space available basis, subject to availability. Owners may also exchange through Elite Alliance, which lists more than 120 destinations, subject to availability.

Los costes de tenencia

Dues are assessed per interest and billed annually by the association. Current resale listings for a two-bedroom interest state dues of $17,834.26 a year, and a two-bedroom interest that sold in April 2024 carried $16,162 a year. Dues cover club membership, common area maintenance, electricity, gas, on-site management and the property taxes on the residence, so Colorado property tax is collected inside the dues rather than billed to you separately. The figure differs by residence and by interest and is confirmed for the specific residence before you commit. Transfer costs are not published.

Servicios y comodidades

Ownership includes Bachelor Gulch Club membership, and that membership, not a separate subscription, carries most of the day to day service here. It also opens the adjoining Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch to owners, which is why the spa, the pools and the restaurants in the list below sit in the hotel rather than in the club building. The list is what owners get with the residence and the dues.

  • Daily lift tickets to Beaver Creek for up to 6 guests, included in the annual dues
  • Ski valet and year-round equipment storage
  • Daily housekeeping
  • Bachelor Gulch Club membership: members' lounge, fitness room, game room and children's room
  • Spa and pool privileges at the adjoining Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch
  • Underground walkway into the Ritz-Carlton hotel and its restaurants
  • On-mountain dining at Zach's Cabin, reached by ski or snowcat
  • Preferred greens fees at Red Sky Ranch Golf Club, courses by Tom Fazio and Greg Norman
  • Heated outdoor pool, hot tubs and tennis courts on site
  • Valet parking
  • Elite Alliance exchange to more than 120 destinations, subject to availability

El edificio

The building was completed in December 2002 by The Athens Group as a 54 unit interval ownership club beside the Ritz-Carlton hotel the same developer built, and the two are joined by an underground walkway. Peter Mason, then a principal at Hill Glazier Architects, led the design of both the hotel and the adjacent club. The look follows the grand lodges of the American national parks: native stone, large log trusses, heavy timber beams and log balconies facing the slope. Residences run from 1,357 to 2,492 sq ft, 126 to 232 sq m. Two-bedroom plans sit near 1,507 sq ft, 140 sq m; three-bedroom plans near 2,196 sq ft, 204 sq m.

Who runs it now

The club opened as The Ritz-Carlton Club, Bachelor Gulch. Timbers Resorts took over management on 1 November 2013, after 89 per cent of the interests that voted backed the change, making it the thirteenth property Timbers managed. Since 2023 the club has traded as 100 Bachelor Ridge, is no longer a Timbers Resorts location, and runs with its own general manager on site. Owner exchange moved to Elite Alliance in November 2023. Older Timbers material for this club describes Timbers Collection reciprocity, and that should be read as historic.

The location

Bachelor Gulch Village was established in 1996 on Beaver Creek Mountain, and the club stands at the base of the Bachelor Gulch Express chairlift, so you ski from the door and can move village to village between Bachelor Gulch, Beaver Creek and Arrowhead. Zach's Cabin, the private on-mountain dining cabin reached by ski or snowcat, is a Bachelor Gulch Club privilege. Summer is golf: Red Sky Ranch has courses by Tom Fazio and Greg Norman, with preferred greens fees for members. Eagle County Regional Airport is about 30 minutes away. Denver International is 120 miles, 2 hours 15 minutes.

Cómo lo gestiona Avory

Avory works with the member services team at 100 Bachelor Ridge and with the Vail Valley brokers who hold the resale interests. After you enquire we send the unit number, the interest number and its week pattern, the current dues notice for that residence, the floor plan and the association documents, and we arrange a tour of the club. Owner stays are possible when an owner releases weeks, subject to availability. Avory is not the club and cannot create availability. Request access.
