Koenigsegg Regera

The car. A 2021 Koenigsegg Regera in red and black with exposed carbon fibre, and a black and beige interior with red stitching. The car shows 3,160 km and is left-hand drive. A 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8 works with three electric motors for a combined 1,500 hp on E85 fuel, and 1,280 Nm at 4,100 rpm, through Koenigsegg's Direct Drive transmission. It has a removable roof, ceramic brakes and forged aluminium centre-lock wheels, and weighs 1,590 kg.

The model. Koenigsegg built 80 Regeras as its grand tourer. The electric motors also handle torque vectoring and regenerative braking. The engine and gearbox sit on a rear subframe with active soft mounts to cut noise and vibration, and every body closure opens and shuts automatically at the press of a button.
