The Beacon Hill Estate sits in lush tropical planting on Harbour Island, private and secluded yet only a short drive from the ease and colour of Dunmore Town. It offers the rare combination of genuine retreat and an island village on the doorstep.
The interiors marry the island's colonial past with a relaxed contemporary hand: deep sofas against traditional architecture, natural light playing across warm wood, and mahogany-framed glass doors sliding open to the veranda. At the centre of the hand-crafted kitchen, a marble breakfast island seats eight and tends to become the heart of the house.
Six ensuite bedrooms sleep twelve. Outside there is a heated pool with its own bar, an outdoor kitchen and barbecue, beach loungers at the water and a private boat dock, with a fitness room, home office and wine storage tucked inside.

Harbour Island is reached through North Eleuthera Airport, a short flight from Nassau or south Florida. From the airport it is a few minutes by car to the dock, then a water-taxi crossing of around ten minutes brings you over to the island; the estate keeps its own private dock on the bay side, so you can step ashore almost at the door. We arrange the crossing and every transfer as part of the stay.
