La Datcha commands the highest point of Val Thorens, at the corner of Grand Rue in the very centre of the resort. It is a rare combination: direct ski access on one hand, the restaurants and life of the town on the other, and nearly 13,000 square feet of living space in between.
The interiors blend chalet romanticism with a stately European polish — timber panelling, exposed beams and coffered ceilings set against early-century pieces and deep, contemporary seating. It reads less like a rental and more like a family seat that happens to sit at altitude.
The eight bedrooms are arranged into five separate suites of two to three rooms each, giving groups genuine flexibility in how they divide up. An indoor pool, hot tub, sauna and hammam, a bar, games room, private lift and staff quarters complete the house, sleeping fifteen in total.

Val Thorens sits at the head of the Belleville valley, the highest resort in the Alps, and the chalet stands right on the snow in the upper part of the village. Geneva is the most practical major airport, around three hours by road, with Chambéry a little nearer at roughly two; the TGV from Paris runs to Moûtiers, around forty-five minutes below the resort. We arrange transfers, by road or by helicopter, as part of the stay.
