Noam Bora Bora fronts the celebrated lagoon, wrapped in tropical gardens with open water views in every direction. It is a house of quiet extravagance, arranged so that the sound of the water and the scent of the garden are part of every room.
The grand living area holds the estate's most memorable gesture: a floor-to-ceiling aquarium standing in for a conventional wall, so the interior seems to continue straight into the sea. Seven ensuite bedrooms carry the theme through, each individually designed, several with their own spa-like features.
The practical inventory is deep. There are indoor and infinity pools, a hammam and sauna, a home theatre, a library, a fitness room and a private boat dock, with al fresco dining, a pool bar and an outdoor massage area for the hours in between.

Bora Bora's own airport sits on Motu Mute at the edge of the lagoon, reached by a flight of about fifty minutes from Papeete, where international arrivals land at Faa'a. From the airstrip the villa is a boat ride of around half an hour across the water to Motu Piti A'au, the long islet on the lagoon's eastern side, arriving through the estate's own private waterway. We arrange the flight connection and the boat as part of the stay.
