This island reserve sits at the water's edge in the Maldives, designed to disappear into its surroundings rather than compete with them. Its signature is a viewing tower that rises above the treeline, giving a private vantage over lagoon and island in every direction.
Inside, high ceilings and broad windows keep the rooms bright and open to the landscape. A well-appointed kitchen anchors the living spaces, and each of the three bedrooms is a self-contained retreat with its own ensuite bathroom.
The villa carries its comforts lightly: an indoor saltwater pool, sauna and hammam, a massage area, a wine cellar and bicycles for exploring the island. It runs on green energy, in keeping with a house that treats its setting as the main event.

The Reserve sits within Soneva Jani, on Medhufaru Island in the Noonu Atoll. Guests fly into Velana International Airport at Malé, and from there it is around forty minutes by seaplane across the atolls to the resort's own jetty. We arrange the transfer as part of the stay.
