Villa Alba is a traditional Tuscan stone farmhouse, carefully restored and set on a hilltop amid old woodland, with long views over the Val d'Orcia — the landscape that defines Tuscany in most imaginations. It sits within the celebrated Castiglion del Bosco estate near Montalcino, in the heart of Brunello country.
Inside, terracotta floors, sun-faded timber ceilings and arched French doors carry the house's history, anchored by a centuries-old Tuscan fireplace in the living room. Handcrafted furnishings and a proper provincial kitchen with discreetly integrated modern appliances make it as comfortable as it is romantic. Three bedrooms sleep six.
A pergola-shaded terrace opens onto fragrant gardens and a private heated pool, and estate life is part of the appeal: two restaurants, a spa and fitness complex, tennis courts and a private golf course are all within reach, along with a small chapel overlooking Montalcino.

Villa Alba stands on the Castiglion del Bosco estate, in the wooded hills just north-west of Montalcino with the Val d'Orcia spread out below. Florence is the nearest major airport, around two hours by car, with Rome Fiumicino a little over two and a half; Siena, about an hour away, is the closest rail link. We arrange transfers as part of the stay.
