In LionsHead Village, at the foot of Vail Mountain — 195 trails and 5,289 acres in one direction, the gondola and the village in the other. Each residence has a gas fireplace, coffered ceilings, hardwood floors, a gourmet kitchen with marble slab countertops, and heated marble bathroom floors with a whirlpool tub in the primary bathroom. Bedding is made up to suit the party staying; the standard arrangements below adjust on request.
Two-Bedroom — 2 king bedrooms and a pull-out sofa, for 6. Three-Bedroom — 3 kings and a pull-out, for 7.
The heated outdoor pool and hot tubs run year-round. A ski valet handles the equipment; the spa and fitness centre and a 24-hour concierge handle the rest. Heated underground parking is complimentary. The village's restaurants, wine bars and ice rink are at the doorstep, and Beaver Creek is 15 minutes away.
In summer: hiking, cycling, outdoor dining and music festivals.
