The ensuite bathroom features a large walk-in rain shower, and the service throughout the five Victorian townhouses is personal and unstuffy, rich in local recommendations.

The Laslett sits on Pembridge Gardens, a quiet turn off Notting Hill Gate, with the Underground station of the same name a minute or two on foot — the Central line runs straight into the West End. From Heathrow it is around forty-five minutes by car, or a little quicker by Heathrow Express into Paddington, which is ten minutes from the house. We arrange transfers as part of the stay.
