Weymouth Mews is a cobbled lane in Marylebone, and the seven residences along it share one address and one sensibility. Brick and glass, polished concrete and herringbone, planted courtyards reached through floor-to-ceiling doors: the mews holds modern London and protected London within the same few yards, two of its residences Grade II listed with their original fireplaces and staircase intact.
What the residences share is a way of living rather than a lobby. Underfloor heating runs throughout. Each home is furnished with collectable mid-century pieces and original art, and each keeps a turntable and a collection of vinyl, with bicycles at hand for the neighbourhood. Greenery is worked into the plan wherever it can be — a private planted courtyard with outdoor dining and lounge seating, a paved terrace above the cobbles, decked balconies, courtyard outlooks from the ground floor. We take every stay by request and confirm rates with you directly. There is no lift in the mews.
The residences run from 615 square feet to nearly 1,500. At the smaller end are one-bedroom apartments sleeping two, one of them with a private entrance opening straight off the cobbles, another the largest of its kind here with a balcony above the lane. Above and around them sit a two-bedroom duplex across the second and third floors, and two three-bedroom homes sleeping six — the largest arranged around the courtyard on the lower ground, the other a first-floor residence giving onto the terrace. Beds are super-king almost without exception, and principal suites come with their own bath and walk-in shower.
